Senior eClinical Client Manager

 Trial By Fire Solutions is looking for an enthusiastic, independent individual who enjoys helping others, facilitating long term client relationships and working with web-based e-clinical products and services. Become a key contributor to a small team who thinks big about helping to get new medical therapies to people in need.

 This team member will play an integral role in the onboarding activities for our SaaS-based “SimpleTrials” product, a Clinical Trial Management System (CTMS) and Electronic Trial Master File (eTMF), which is used by pharma, device and biotech organizations, as well as CROs and research sites.

 As a member of the customer success team, you will play an integral role in client management successes and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will use your skills to work directly with clients to help them onboard SimpleTrials and be a key contributor in meetings with the TBFS executive team. You will work with the Product Management, Engineering and Support teams to support internal roadmap activities to evolve the SimpleTrials product offering. 

Responsibilities

  •  Oversee SimpleTrials activities for TBFS clients (approximately 75% of role):

    • Point person for day-to-day client communications and screenshare meetings

    • Provide product trainings and assess client use of SimpleTrials

    • Facilitate robust, long-term client relationships and maintain internal tracking tools

    • Oversee client requests for Professional Service activities such as EDC integrations

    • Contribute to customer success program by leading office hours demos and creating content for feature of the month and release overview messaging

    • Lead periodic status update meetings with TBFS stakeholders

    • Perform lite data verification and testing activities (e.g. assist with client-specific troubleshooting or efforts to verify completion of product enhancements)

    • Assist Product Management and Support teams with client questions and support ticket issues

    • Assist with qualification and audit activities requested by clients

  • Additional tasks (approximately 25% of role):

    • Contribute to product feature enhancements and prioritization activities

    • Assist with development of product training resources (e.g. SimpleTrials knowledge base articles and videos)

    • Utilize Issue Management System (IMS) for Professional Services requests and internal tasks

    • Assist Sales and Business Development team members with preparation and follow-up activities as requested

    • Provide screenshare product demonstrations for prospective clients as needed (e.g. with TBFS Sales and BD team members)

    • Provide assistance and functional training for TBFS team members to gain product or feature competency (e.g. new TBFS team members)

    • Contribute to internal process improvements

    • Participate in conferences and trade shows (where requested) 

Qualifications 

  • Must have prior employment in a similar capacity for an eClinical company (e.g. client manager, product specialist or trainer for a software services company)

  • Must have direct use of e-clinical products such as CTMS, eTMF, EDC, IWRS, eISF (CTMS and eTMF are preferred).

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Life Sciences industry in a clinical capacity such as site monitor, study manager, trial assistant, study coordinator, etc.

  • Must be US-based with the ability to work remotely

  • Must be able to manage multiple clients and activities concurrently

  • Must have prior experience providing in person or screenshare training sessions

  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work independently

  • Must have established home office with internet and phone

First 3 Months

  • First month is on-boarding, learning the product and offering, observing demos and associated activities

  • Second month is continuing to learn the application, use of internal tools, and starting mock demos for internal team members

  • At the start of month three, team member is ready to do simple product demos and understands client management activities and related internal processes. By the end of the month, team member is ready to start managing clients.
