Senior SQA Test Engineer

We are looking for a Senior Quality Assurance (SQA) Test Engineer to play an integral role in the quality assurance and evolution of our clinical trial management software. In this role, you will work with our product team and engineering team to oversee, execute and improve our formal SQA program. This is a full time contract position, working remotely. Candidates must be legally able to work in the United States for an unlimited period.

This is a full time contract (1099) working remotely (US-based). Part time considered. The company is based in Northern California.

Responsibilities

•       Work closely with Engineering team to scope and develop test plans for features and bug fixes

•       Author, review and execute test cases and test plans

•       Manage SQA testing resources and associated timelines for ongoing testing and product release activities

•       Assist SQA test resources in development of test cases and test planning activities

•       Review executed test cases and test plans for acceptability of testing evidence

•       Review and provide input for product design and configuration documents

•       Responsible for ensuring testing environments are available, are appropriate for the test planning needs, contain representative test data, and SQA test resources are aligned

•       Responsible for coordinating test builds with Engineering team for execution of test plan

•       Work with Professional Services and Support team to contribute content for the product knowledge base and user guides

 

Qualifications

•       Must have direct experience with issue management systems such as Atlassian and test execution tools like Zephyr

•       Must have experience with the software development life cycle (SDLC)

•       Minimum of 2 years’ experience in SQA testing capacity for web-hosted products

•       Direct experience with product validation activities a plus

•       Direct experience with eClinical products like EDC, eTMF, EMR/EHR, ePro a plus

•       Direct experience working in the Life Sciences Industry a plus

•       Salary commensurate with experience

 

Skills & Abilities:

•       Must have technical writing skills and direct experience authoring and executing test cases

•       Must have excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills, be able to manage timelines and tasks effectively and independently, and escalate issues appropriately

•       Strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent problem solving/troubleshooting skills.

•       Must have home office setup with reliable internet, testing devices, and phone/VoIP
